Join us for our fourth annual "Introduce a Girl" series event. Our previous events of Introduce a Girl to Photonics, Introduce a Girl to Nanotechnology, and Introduce a Girl to Bioengeering and had fun themed demos to help the future scientists learn fundamentals in each field. This year's theme is CoRDS (coding, robotics and data science). Explore demos such as learning coding fundamentals, creating arduino projects, and interacting with robotics! Learn from experts in the field and learn in an open and welcoming environment. This will be an open house style event with booths. The booths take about a hour to get through so even if you pick the last time slot you can get through everything.(The target age group is late elementary school and early middle school)

Women in Chemical Engineering and The University of Washington acknowledge the Coast Salish peoples of this land, the land which touches the shared waters of all tribes and bands within the Suquamish, Tulalip and Muckleshoot nations. We acknowledge the people – past, present, and future – of the Dkhw’Duw’Absh, the Duwamish Tribe, the Muckleshoot Tribe, and other tribes on whose traditional lands we teach, learn, study and work
