Description: This event is comprised of several panels featuring 15 women and men that are leaders in their respective fields of industry. These professionals, whom all have obtained a ChemE degree (B.S., M.S., and/or Ph.D.), will share their experiences and advice.  This event will begin with a distinguished keynote speaker, followed by two 40 minute “break-out session” discussions in which panelists can share experiences from their respective fields (i.e. biopharma, data science, technology, and energy) and career paths (PhD to Industry or BS to Industry). We will then have a distinguished keynote speaker close us out, followed by a networking and happy hour. Dinner will be served between break-out sessions, and all those attending will receive small attendee bags for participating in our event.

SPONSORSHIP DETAILS

We value the support of all our donors and sponsors. We could not pull off this event without you! Please consider making a donation to our event, or sponsor our event. All donations and sponsorships can be made on our eventbrite page. Your support will go towards the following:

  • covering travel and accommodations for our panelists - we bring in panelists both locally and nationally to provide our students with broader representation of the chemical engineering industry.

  • food at our event - at the events the last two years, we found our attendees benefited greatly from shared conversation over food between sessions and during dinner.

  • marketing and advertising supplies - we make comprehensive pamphlets for day of attendees that contain the event details, our sponsor logos, and our panelist bios, along with information about Women in Chemical Engineering; we also advertise to students considering chemical engineering at local community colleges, to local WiSE and SWE chapters, to on-campus UW engineering dorms, and to UW pre-engineering programs. Additionally, this year, we will be advertising to our local Seattle alumni to attend.

  • Attendee bags and panelists thank yous - we know everyone is busy, and we appreciate all those that take the time to come out to our event and make it a huge success

In addition to making donations of any amount, we have several sponsorship packages that are outline below:
